New Hair...

Well here's a picture of my new hair. It's not that i dislike it, I've just been getting used to it. I didn't look like me to me for a day or so.

But hey...if I feel comfortable posting a pic of it barely brushed and more or less how I rolled out of bed this morning, then I must be happy with it!

Lol my hair is a mess. I was a little lazy this morning and didn't have time to do my hair, because I decided staying in bed was more important.

I had to get up early to take Nick to the bus, but I actually had to get up properly as I have a doctors appointment. then I'm helping mum finish the Christmas food shop.

Hopefully later today I'll have time to post my Color Club Beyond the Mistletoe pictures and I'm hoping to get the first 3 of my Hits no Olimpio polishes up today or tomorrow.

A Party Hearty Christmas!

Wow! day 6 of the school holidays and already I feel so much more relaxed...
I can even handle shopping at the mall, when its crazy and hardly any car parks. I drive up to the 3rd floor... I just get uber scared if I have to stop on the ramp. During term time I can't even cope with the mall on a Saturday morning. I just get a little cranky when there's too many people.  I've even been swearing at random cars that don't follow the road code less.

But the point is I've been calm and happy and did I mention calm? I've managed to clean my house and keep it clean, seriously that is a major achievement if you know how messy my darling is.

I'm even starting to look forward to my new class next year. I really do love teaching...despite the stress and headaches this year has given me.

Anyway on to pictures...

My mani today is Revlon Stonewashed with a generous splash of CG Party Hearty.
I've already had two people tell me how much they like it. I went to the post office and the supermarket and got stopped at both places by people wanting to know about my nails.

Now I'm off to get a hair cut. I am super nervous...I may have a slight irrational fear of hairdressers. It's not as bad as my irrational fear of chalk...but anyway...

My hairdresser moved an hour and a half away just after my wedding...So I haven't had a cut since then. I'm trying out a new person working at the salon...but omg I'm nervous. It doesn't help I don't know exactly what I want... Lets hope she can read minds like my old hairdresser could.

In all seriousness I do have a few pictures of what I like. In all honesty I really just want a change. Last cut I had we left my hair quite long, with a long fringe, because of the wedding. I know hair grows back so as long as it's about shoulder length and doesn't look heinous I'm happy. I'm sure the hairdresser knows what she's doing and wont make my hair look awful! I even left it naturally wavy so she could see the texture...*fingers crossed*

Here's the before...

Long, wavy, scraggly hair that is in desperate need of a cut!
Wish me luck!

New Hair

While I'm holidign on the phone waiting for the insurance people to answer, I may as well post my new hair.
I didn't get much taken off and just got a few layers and that growing out fringe blended into my hair as more of a side swept fringe. the coolest thing however is the colour.  My hairdresser is awesome she can interpret my 'ah I don't know' and find exactly the colours I'm after.

A lot more blonde. you can see the warm foils and the blonde, blonde foils.
While i'm still holding...Here's some pics of my nails yesterday. I felt myself immediatly drawn to Cult nails Always Winning as soon as I saw the bottle.

But then it started peeling so I gave it a healthy dose of OPI Navy Shatter.

Haircut!

Well I'm very excited. In 10 minutes time I'm going to be driving down to the hairdressers and getting my hair cut and coloured for the wedding. And havig a bit of a play with styles to wear it for the 'big day'.

In the mean time here's my hair now...

Polka dots
Glasses...because I am a teacher. I will be wearing contacts for the wedding...I just didn't bring them with me!
Wow you can see how tired i look. But as you can see I have naturally wavy, somedays curly hair.  It's a golden brown colour naturally but at the ends you can still see some foils, barely.

When I cut my hair to shoulder length I straighten it everyday to prevent 'bounce up'.  I think I'll leave it longer today but I have no idea what to do to the front. Fringe....blunt or side swept....no fringe...ahhh. I got a bluntish fringe before Christmas so it's kinda still growing out. It's jaw length now....so I have to do something with it. I will of course be returning to a blonder look with two shades of blonde foils through the top of my hair.

Anyway....yay hairdresser! I can't wait to play with my veil.

I has muscles...they hurts.

Day two back at school and I'm so exhausted already! Thank goodness I have a release day on Thursday! The kids are tired out as well. They just start wilting after lunch, they couldn't even play cat and mouse today.

It doesn't really help that it's just under 3 months until our wedding. I have a dress fitting in one month...
so it's crazy diet and exercise time. I kept meaning to get back into exercising...this is just the push I needed I guess. I'm really not into gyms and exercising in front of other people. I draw the curtains when I exercise at home even. So I've been hanging out with the Wii. Wii Fit and The Biggest Loser to be precise. Biggest loser every 2nd day and wii Fit everyday. It's day 3 and I just did my first Biggest Loser work out in a long time...I have muscles in my stomach. I know I do, because they hurt! I couldn't bear to hoola hoop on the wii fit today so I went for a walk to the supermarket and carried my shopping home instead.
At least the wii fit tells me I lost weight....so it can be my friend still!

Here's something totally un-nail related...my new hair clip!

Personally I think it's awesome. I love bows at the moment. I'm eyeing a very nice pair of silver studs that just so happen to be incredibly cute bows. And it has sparkle! What's not to love? I'm finding myself letting me hair be at the moment. Rather than straightening it embracing the wave.
