OPI: Your Royal Shine-ness

Just a quick post this morning.

Everyone needs a pretty flashy silver polish in their collection. I actually got rid of a couple of silvers from my collection. the one I decided to keep was OPI Your Royal Shine-ness.

OPI Your Royal Shine-ness
It's pretty, it's sparkly, it's silver. That pretty much sums it up.
It also has a princess related name... that may be why I decided to keep this one!

Mum and Dad are moving house today. So I'll be helping them tonight and tomorrow, and hopefully playing some Guild Wars 2. Being sick when it came out was not cool, I couldn't play :(
My poor little elementalist is only level 9.

Girly Bits: Drool Worthy Spammage

I have had this post all ready to go for a couple of weeks now...

When it comes to Girly Bits polishes I have this strange compulsion to collect them all... I need need need Razzle Dazzle at the moment and January Snow (So I'm up to date with the Calendar collection).

I seem to be amassing a collection of blue/purple blend glitter polishes. At some stage I will have to do a comparison between Dollish Polish Super Bass, Pahlish Train Under Water and Girly Bits Daddy's Little Girl.

Anyway enjoy the spammage.

But look forward to a post on my snazzy new Helmers in the short term future!

OPI: La Paz-itively Hot

I've had an interesting couple of weeks.

Nick's grandma passed away. It seems odd that only a year a go she was with us in Rarotonga.

My parents sold their house and are moving round the corner from us. I actually can't wait to be able to walk round and make mum go out for a walk with me. Nick hates walking. They're in the process of off loading to make moving easier. My house and garage are looking very full.

And I've been sick. As soon as we got back from Nick's grandmas funeral in Greymouth I got sick. Sunday I was in bed all day, Monday I went to School and today I was home again
It's just a cold, but argh I'm sick.

My nails have been rather naked lately, but here's my go to bright pink polish with stunning shimmer. OPI La Paz-I tively Hot. I find it's the perfect shade of hot pink for me and very flattering on the nail. I do need to use 3 coats, you can see I used 2 in the first pic and have vnl.

I love love love La Paz-I tively Hot. I only wish that I could remember the name of it with out googling! I just refer to it as La Hot. Oh well it's my go to pink no matter what the name!

Lush Lacquer and a Black and White Comparison

I'm actually trying something new and typing this from an iPad.

The teachers at school were issued iPads to get used to using. The idea is we'll be able to use them as a teaching tool. So far I'm loving some of the math and spelling apps.

Anyway on to polish!

A wee while ago I posted my massive Lush Lacquers swatch post, unfortunately I didn't get my swatches of Middnight Affair or Salt n Peppa up.

I haven't worked out how to add captions to my pictures on here.

When I get back on my HP Mini I'll fix up this post and put the captions right!

Color Club: Magnetic Force

Just a quick post this morning to make up for my lack of posting.

We had a very busy weekend. Nick had his work conference...that was interesting...

I bought five of the Color Club Magnetic Force polishes way back when they were first released. I swatched them on a finger each... then added them to my 'swatch those later pile', where they stayed for months.

Well I finally have swatches of them! I have used the China glaze magnetic to created the star, chevron and diagonal lines. The Color Club magnetic is the wave on my pinky.

Pahlish: SPAM!!!

So... I'm still alive...

I don't have the best reasons for not blogging lately... I've just been very busy with school and life... and had a disagreement with my camera, which has led to me not wanting to use it. Which is odd since I never normally leave the house without it. The lens is making funny noises and i'm scared to break it if i use it too much... yeah I'm certifiable.

One of my absolute favourite indie polishes is Pahlish.

I can't help it, I love everything about Pahlish polishes. The ones I have used all seem to have fab formulaes and the glitter/colour combinations are stunning.

A couple of months ago I went a little Pahlish crazy... before I got banned from buying polish.

Be prepared to drool...these polishes are amazing.
