Nail Prisms: Ruby Diamond 13 Dark

Well todays Nail Prism is again Ruby Diamond but what I have deemed the dark version. It seems to be more pink toned as well. Actually its rather bright pink!

Ruby Diamond 13

Again this is one of the more opaque Nail Prisms and is a very pretty holo polish. What's not to love!

Color Club Master of Disguise

I have been leeming the Color Club Master of Disguise mini polishes for quite awhile. There's a standard white creme, a black creme, an inky blurple and the reason why I wanted the set...an orange glitter in orange jelly. Yes I did buy the set just for one polish...but it's really pretty!

Ghost of Chance
Streaky white creme. Meh. I really don't like white cremes, they make me think of twink or white out on the nails. Three coats.

Master of Disguise
Plan black creme a Halloween standard but nothing exciting. I got away with using one coat here.

Taboo!
Deep inky blurple with pretty pink/purple/blue shimmers. Another standard shade really, but its still pretty.

Abracadabra
Now we're talking! This is the polish I wanted. Orange jelly with gold (I think it's gold) glitter. Rather thick in application but awesome Halloween sparkles. I used one coat here. Yes, buying the set was worth it for this polish.

Rugged Wellington Coast and Gardening!

Last Friday Nick and I took mum out to a job interview at the airport in Wellington. They interviewer had flown in for the day and was doing all her interviews at the airport. We dropped mum off and had a look around the shops...then we got bored and went for a drive. We drove out towards Moa Point and stopped when we found a nice carpark so we could walk around.

Looking towards the other side of the bay...Wellington is all about bays on this side of the coast.

I can see the airport runway...
Wild flowers.

A rock with a hole! Awesomeness it was person sized and the walking track went straight through.
It's always fun to visit somewhere you wouldn't always go. I normally drive to the airport and then drive home, I've never explored the area. So it was fun to check out this little part of the coast. We didn't get to explore too much as mum rang asking to be picked up...finally! In good news...she did get the job :)

And here is a picture that shows everyone the weather I've been fighting all holidays as I've tried to swatch my untrieds.

Looking at the border of our section. All the trees are ours except the twiggy bare one. The wood pigeons have destroyed that tree.
Oh look it's blue sky...I can swatch holo's! Then 30sec later it's dark grey with no hope of sunlight... then it rains... then the sun pops back out and the cycle starts all over again.

And back to grey...but look is that blue...?
At least it was sunny yesterday. Mum and Dad came round to help us sort out the section...We've been trying to all holidays but the intermittent rain has prevented us. We also swapped beds, gave mum and dad our spare queen and they gave us a single. So my polish room/library is almost completed. We're going to stick a large mirror up today. It'll be awesome.

Which is grass which is garden? Ahhhh the weeds lol.
As you can see we have no problem growing things...I'm rather good at growing weeds...
\But look I can grow vegetables as well! Check out my lettuces and strawberries.

And finally some nails! These are my manual labour nails I wore yesterday...and my first attempt at dotting lol.

Manual labour nails: OPI Steady as She Rose, CG Snow and Happy Go Lucky.
The dotting tools I used are the same kind as in my 365 Giveaway

OPI Zom-body to Love

I was highly excited that OPI was releasing a full size bottle of glow in the dark polish for Halloween this year. I was even more excited it was green and more excited again the name referenced zombies. Talking of zombies... What's your zombie plan? If you don't have a plan for the zombie apocalypse it's probably time you started planning this Halloween!

Zom-body to Love
I've used four coast of Zom-body to Love, if you think it looks a tad gloppy...it is. Not through fault of the polish, but rather my impatience. I love how it has that particle glow in the dark look, like the bouncy balls you had as a kid...the ones that looked crystalised almost and you used to pick at and pull apart... I love the colour of Zom-body to Love and the fact that unlike Glow-ink the Dark I managed to get it to a suitable colour in 4 coats not 5 billion.

Zom-body to Love getting it's glow on.
The coolest thing about Zom-body to love is that it glows. It glows bright. If yours is not glowing hold it up to  a light to charge it.

Zom-body to Love and Black Shatter
Zom-body to Love is available in a set with Black Shatter. So I thought I better try the combo out! Love. Black shatter looks pretty awesome with Zom-body to Love. Ahhh too many awesome Halloween polishes. What to wear for the actual day! I thought I had taken a picture of Zom-body to love glowing with Shatter but I can't seem to find it. You'll have to take my word, shatter and top coat don't prevent it glowing.

Nail Prisms: Ruby Diamond 13 Light

I've been really slack at posting my Nail Prisms. Actually I haven't posted any since a few scheduled ones whilst I was in Rarotonga...Ohhh....Rarotonga...I want to be back in Rarotonga!

Anyway lets get back on track and see if I can do these once a week...there's not too many more to go.

Todays Nail Prism is Ruby Diamond 13. I've called this the light one as I have two versions of Ruby Diamond, one being slightly darker than the other.

Ruby Diamond 13
Not exactly a bright red ruby, more a pinkish ruby, but it does have that gorgeous holo sparkle! Ruby Diamond seems to be one of the more opaque Nail Prisms as well.

Color Club Cast a Spell

I love the Color Club mini's. They're half the size of a standard bottle, so pretty decent size, and they're just plain cute. I'm waiting on the Master of Disguise set to arrive at the moment. I think I'm developing an addiction...

Cast a Spell is last years Halloween mini collection from Color Club. It consists of a black, neon orange, inky blue and a sparkly glitter. I love the orange.

Spellbound
Charmed I'm Sure
Bewitching

Hocus Pocus layered over Bewitching
Pretty standard colours, but the neon orange stands out and I love the Halloween theme names.

Alcoholic Nails for Summery Sun

We had an interesting day yesterday. We took our 5 year old nephew out for lunch and spent some time with him. He was rather distraught he couldn't come home with us, but Granddad said he was coming round to our place today and would bring Bradley with him, so he calmed down a bit. He just decided lying in front of the door would work to stop us leaving...

Then Nicks brother and his partner brought our gorgeous 7 month nephew round for dinner. So we had a fabulous time catching up with them and going all ga ga over baby.

Then he had his xbox live account hacked. So that was a 30min phone call explaining that his xbox live account was now in Russian despite his xbox settings being set to English. Either way Nick's with out his xbox live account for 25days as they sort it all out. Apparently that's the max time he'll be without it... I hope they fix it sooner...

Anyway on to nails. Alcoholic nails! Well I skittled a few China Glaze polishes from the Martini Pedicure and Tequila Toes collections... The yummy summery colours do make me think of cocktails.

Tarnished and Varnished, 100 Proof Pink, Shaken not Stirred and No Way Jose.

Doesn't that just look like summer!

Thumb: Raspberry Festival, Tarnished and Varnished, 100 Proof Pink, Shaken not Stirred and No Way Jose.
I loved wearing this mani, it's just so bright and cheerful. In some odd way the colours all tie together... but it's not so matchy matchy.
